AMC, however, has a policy of not disclosing your personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.

1.  The Information AMC Collects.

AMC automatically collects certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Website.  The information does not reveal your specific identity (such as your name and contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Website and other technical information.  This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Website, and for AMC’s internal analytics and reporting purposes.  


2.   To Whom AMC Provides Your Information.

By providing information to the AMC Website, you agree that without any further consent or notice, AMC may process or share your personal information for the following reasons: 


a. Consent:  AMC may process your data or use your personal information if specific consent was provided for a specific purpose.  

b. Legitimate Interests:  AMC may process your data and use your personal information when it is reasonably necessary to achieve AMC’s legitimate business interests.

c. Performance of a Contract: AMC will process your data and use your personal information when AMC entered into a contract with you and this information is used to process or fulfill the terms of the contract.

Legal Obligations:  AMC will disclose your information when it is legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).

Vital Interests:  AMC has the right to disclose your information where it is reasonably believed to be necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.  

3.  Your Information May Be Shared Internationally.

AMC’s servers are located in the United States, and therefore AMC will not take any action to transfer your information, unless in relation to the use described above.  Please note that if you are accessing AMC’s Website from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed outside the United States, and subsequently used by AMC in its facilities and by those third parties with whom we may share your personal information.


4.  The Retention Of Your Information.

AMC keeps your information for the reasonable time period for purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention of the private information or data is required or permitted by law. AMC is not required to keep your personal information for longer than 1 year.

Many operating systems and mobile applications include a “Do-Not-Track” (DNT) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.  We do not respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
