Ken has been raising equity from accredited investors for AMC’s multi-family and commercial real estate investments since 2009. Ken brings a wealth of experience in the acquisition, disposition, asset management and brokerage of multi-family and commercial real estate, spanning more than 30 years across several billion dollars in assets throughout the United States.
Ken obtained his California Real Estate Broker’s license in 1985 and as a broker, has owned and operated his own real estate brokerage firm and property management company. Prior to 1996, Ken worked for Western Federal Savings Bank and the Resolution Trust Corporation as a Senior Asset Manager, where he was responsible for the management and disposition of a large portion of the institution’s 125-asset, $250- million commercial and multi-family REO portfolio located throughout California.
From 1996 to 1999, Ken was an Acquisition Manager for AMC where he focused his efforts on locating and evaluating non-performing loans for lender workouts and acquisition in addition to real estate acquisitions meeting AMC’s investment criteria.
From 1999 to 2006, Ken was Assistant Vice President of Dispositions for SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners, Inc., where he was responsible for the disposition of a large portion of the company’s market rate multi-family portfolio located throughout the United States. This portfolio consisted of more than 50 newly constructed institutional-quality multi-family communities in 17 states totaling more than 12,500 units, with an aggregate market value exceeding $1 Billion. Ken was also responsible for the disposition of SunAmerica’s land portfolio located throughout the United States.
From 2006 to 2009, Ken directed asset management activities for Scripps Investments & Loans, Inc.
